Western Civilization is part of global humanity. Spengler and his work, started in 1918 and finished in the early 1920s, the Decline of the West, (The German title of Oswald Spengler's famous work The Decline of the West is Der Untergang des Abendlandes (which translates more literally as The Downfall of the Occident). Though this is mentioned, typically, and sadly predictably, unlike Serbian Archimandrite Justin Popovitch (+1979) in his magisterial Православна црква и екуменизам (transliterated as Pravoslavna crkva i ekumenizam), English Translation: "The Orthodox Church and Ecumenism" (Lazarica Press, Birmingham, England (2000) there is no mention of what Oswald Spengler said would replace Western Civilization, namely, by 2100, a reversion to its previous civilization of (TRUE) Orthodox Christianity, which is what it was before the movements marked by the Great East-West Schism of 1054, whose civilisation was replaced in Western Europe by the Latin Romanist heretical civilisation in a process lasting, according to Spengler, from about AD900 to 1200. Actually, it was in a sense even longer than this, with the unappealable Ecumenical Council of Constantinople of 1084 condemning the "meeting at Florence" - the pseudo-Ecumenical or Robber Council of (Basel-)Florence(-Ferrara) of 1431-45, after it had become abundantly clear to all, 7 years after the fall of the last Greek ruled fragment of the (Eastern) Roman Empire in 1477 that the West did not have the capacity, any time soon, to support the re-establishment of the Roman Empire in any form, but did still rule over, via Venice mainly, some Greek Orthodox territories and bishoprics, within what had been the canonical territory of the Ancient Patriarchate of Rome and the West (which had included all of Greece as far east as Salonica (aka Thessaloniki), and which was represented, inter alia, by The Orthodox Bishop (Metropolitan) of Salonica (Thessaloniki) in 1484 was Niphon, who served the see from 1450 to 1484 before later being elected as the Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople as Niphon II. The Synod took place between September 1st 1483 and 31st August 1484. Sadly, far from repenting, the Romanist Pope and Heresiarch at the time failed to send any representatives or legates with the Roman Patriarchate of the West thus being solely represented by those who wished to repudiate the pseudo-Ecumenical (aka Robber) Council and false union of Florence. 

Even after this, with the creation of Reformed Protestantism with Martin Luther´s correct protesting of the sale of the Romanist heresiarch´s sale indulgences on October 31st 1517 according to the Julian Calendar then in use, equivalent to October 21st in the Gregorian calendar, almost 400 years to the day before the Bolshevik Revolution (of October 25/November 7th 1917), the Protestant reformers approached  Negotiations and theological exchanges between Protestant reformers and the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople took place across the 16th and 17th centuries. Driven by a mutual desire to find allies against the Roman Catholic Church, these overtures ultimately stalled due to deep doctrinal divergences and contrasting structural worldviews.The 16th-Century Lutheran-Tübingen Exchanges. 

The Initiative: In the 1550s and 1570s, Lutheran theologians (particularly from the University of Tübingen, such as Martin Crusius and Jakob Andreae) sought contact with Constantinople, hoping the Eastern Church would validate the Reformation.The Augsburg Confession: Philipp Melanchthon hosted a patriarchal emissary, Demetrius Mysos, in 1559 and prepared a Greek translation of the Augsburg Confession (Augusta Graeca) to present to the East. The Patriarch's Response: Ecumenical Patriarch Jeremias II engaged in a famous series of theological exchanges (1576–1581) with the Tübingen Lutherans. While cordial, Jeremias II firmly pointed out areas of doctrinal disagreement—such as free will, the filioque, the sacraments, and church tradition—ultimately inviting the Reformers to conform to historic Orthodox teaching rather than framing it as a merger of equals. They failed to do so as a whole, though there has been a steady trickle of individuals, bishops and parishes that have returned to Orthodoxy (and to TRUE Orthodoxy with the sundering of the last indirect communion between True and World Orthodoxy when it finally became totally clear to all members of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia (ROCOR), when True Orthodox Bishop Gabriel of the Cyclades Islands, Greece was refused a request to speak in favour of condemning the discrimination and persecution up to and including murder, of True Orthodox Christians including behind the iron curtain.
When the Greek Old Calendarist Metropolitan Gabriel of the Cyclades attempted to address the Vancouver Assembly, he was not allowed to speak by the ecumenists. The New York Times, however, published his report, which included the following words: “Modern ecumenism is the reflection of the latest radical, atheistic and anti-Christian anthropomorphism which has as its principle that God is as necessary to man as man is to God. This radical anthropomorphism continues to struggle through the WCC to make the salvific message of Christ simply a servile element of the socio-political and earthly needs of man Thus it struggles for the actualisation of the unity of the Christian world without Christ, who is ‘the Way, the Truth and the Life’ of the Church and the faithful. Dogmatic and ethical minimalism, spiritual nihilism, humanistic pacifism and horizontal social activism lead to a union of the Christian world without Christ. So these attempts of the WCC constitute the modern blasphemy of the Holy Spirit par excellence and declare a deep crisis of faith in the Western Christian world…”

The restoration of the previous civilisation and when it will happen is best shown through Orthodox Christian prophecies especially the 24 part Anonymous Prophecy of Mount Athos of 1053, representing the 24 letters of the Greek Alphabet, from Alpha to Omega, and therefore being by Christ our God himself, who is Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. Part 12 is Revolution in India - Expulsion of the English (1947) Part 13 is England for the Saxons only (Brexit etc, from the 2016 Referendum on the European Union. This is still unfolding). It ends with the ending of the Roman Papacy, one Patriarch for all of Europe, One flock under one pastor, and the submission of the Latins to the unerring faith of the (True) Orthodox Christians amidst rejoicing. This will be in the wake of a 3rd World War, in which, according to the Prophecy of the Martyr St. Constantine the Russian (+1800) over 70% of the world will die on a single day, 18 December on the Church Calendar and the Civil Calendar on Mount Athos, Greece (31 December in the civil calendar outside of Mount Athos). Likely to be a massive nuclear exchange on that day, a civil New Year´s eve, in which much of the personnel will be away on holiday, making it easier to accomplish. With death from fallout etc. the final death toll globally will likely reach about 95% of the world´s population, well in line with George Galloway´s statements on what the likely casualties from a nuclear strike would be likely to be. This would result in a surviving population of about 400 million, which would be well within the Georgia Guidestones target of a world of no more than 500 million people. 

It is here that we also have to consider the Prophecies of the Serbian Righteous Dmitri Taradzic (+1899), namely that no bombs will fall upon one country in the South Seas "about the size of our Europe" (meaning "Orthodox Europe" of his time). This can only be Australia, which is the hardest of substantial developed countries to reach. 

According to the 1911 Prophecy of St. Aristocles of Mount Athos and Moscow (+1918) , America will feed the world, but eventually collapse. Much of this will be quite literal as he also says that a huge volcano accompanied by earthquakes will erupt in the centre of America. 

In 2010 satellite observations confirmed that Yellowstone is a super volcano. So, it is likely to be connected to this. With the destruction of most of its central heartland, and the likelihood that California to the West of the San Andreas fault will also be submerged (hence the building of a monastery in Arizona as the nearest safe place from this) America will lose the 3rd World War, emerging as a pious True Orthodox Christian country in an overwhelmingly True Orthodox Christian World as the 3rd World War ends with an angel proclaiming: "Let the Gospel be preached". This won´t be the pseudo-Gospel of the Latin or other heretics, but the real, Truly Orthodox Christian Gospel being preached throughout the world at the time, first of all to the Gentiles and finally to the Jews who will have previously resisted. Some predictions are that 2/3s of the Jews will accept True Orthodox Christianity, leaving 1/3 to be eventually harbingers of the Antichrist (many of whom will finally realise, towards the end of his 3 1/2 year reign), whom the Antichrist really is. 

The likely timeline for the 3rd World War is in the mid-2030s. There will be a battle for Constantinople aka Istanbul, as the Anonymous Prophecy of 1053 of Mount Athos, and others confirm.

In accordance with the prophecy written on a pillar in Constantinople in the 4th century which was deciphered just before the fall of Constantinople in 1453, the Hagarenes (a word used for the Muslims who were spiritually descendants of the illegitimate Hagar, emphasising their roots in Arian heresy and its acceptance of Christ as a prophet but denial of his equality in the Trinity and in the case of the Moslems of his divinity altogether, contradicting themselves by saying that Christ will be the judge of everyone as only God can judge, with typical heretical incoherence and cognitive dissonance) would rule Constantinople for about 480 years before its restoration in a year in which the Feast of the Annunciation (March 25th in the Church Calendar and the civil calendar on Mount Athos, Greece, 7th April in the civil calendar elsewhere) coincides with Pascha (aka Easter) (which falls on March 27th/April 9th in 2034).  Its apodosis, normally celebrated on March 26th/April 8th, will be suppressed and absorbed into the Paschal cycle.

In conclusion, the interviewee quotes from Oscar Spengler, but ignores his conclusion about the ultimate fate of the Western Civilisation and the battle for it which he describes, which is its return to TRUE Orthodox Christianity, which then becomes the globally dominant civilisation. This reflects the Reformed Protestant and therefore heretical and fundamentally erroneous bias of both the interviewer and the author.
